Clarus Center is pleased to welcome Devorah Ferraro Curtis, PhD to our community. Devorah is an Integrative Life Coach and Pastoral Counselor. Her passion is working with adults experiencing a life transition; such as a job loss, career dissatisfaction or relationship, health, or faith challenges. A typical client might express feeling that they are no longer growing, an awareness that something needs to change, or fear that they don’t know what to do next. Using the latest evidence-based assessment tools, reflective inquiry, and individual support, Devorah partners with each of her clients to help them rediscover their courage, passion, motivation and develop a step-by-step action plan to achieve their goals.
Devorah brings warmth, energy and enthusiasm to her work. She believes that “all of the answers we need are within us” and that with the right support and guidance we can access our own wisdom. Her own life journey through personal health challenges, spiritual questioning, and various career positions provided her with the opportunity to explore for herself how change occurs, how faith develops and how we get clear about our own values, priorities, and life path. Her master’s and doctoral degrees in psychology provided a more formal opportunity to study these questions and develop her skills in applying humanistic and self-determination theory to her work as an Integrative Life Coach and Pastoral Counselor. She welcomes new clients!
